The field of quantum technology is of strategic importance for Switzerland. Also internationally, large efforts are made in quantum technologies with funding programs reaching billions. Although more and more Swiss companies are active in the field, the visibility of the Swiss quantum industry is not high and quantum technology may not be considered as a serious vertical application.

Photonics is a key enabling technology for many quantum related applications. The aim of the workshop is to exchange on how photonics enables novel solutions and applications in the fields of quantum sensing, metrology, communication and computing.
